It’s been almost a year since our last update. Although not a lot has been going on the website, we have been working hard on both new and old projects.

We have many things to share with you guys, along with our new website which we will be adding to and updating in the coming months. What you are seeing at the moment is just the bare bones of what we plan to do.

So, were not going to announce anything just yet, but stay tuned for some exciting developments.

Just a quick update, new content will be hitting on the 19th so make sure you check back then. First up will be interviews with DarkSider and renegadeZero, Ren’s guide to starting out in the design industry and some artwork.

We should have a steady flow of content appearing from then so make sure you sign up to our RSS feed and don’t miss out. Lots of free resources and tuts coming your way.

OK, so once again things has been delayed. We planned to post up all the articles we had written over the past month or so - yesterday, but we have thus far been unable to do so.

We are working on a big project at the moment and there have been a few… technical issues. We can’t say too much about what it is, but lets just say its very exciting (for us at least) and we hope you all enjoy it.

So anyway, a lot of our resources have gone into getting this thing off the ground and on a stable platform. We are expected to complete the ‘shell’ by the weekend, if not today. That means we will be posting stuff up here in the next day or two. All going to plan.

We will have big news regarding the new project and how you will be able to get involved very soon.

OK so we have installed some plugins, got stuff to generally work and pretty much figured out how to get the stuff thats not currently working… er working. Now it’s time for bed.

We will be updating the site with all the content tomorrow, so see you then.

OK we’re really excited. REALLY. No it has nothing to do with the 5 cans of Monster we drank earlier… (We do pee green tho!) As you can see with your eyes we have the new website up and running. Kinda.

We are having a few compatibility issues so please be patient with us. We also have a host of new updates to post including (but not limited to): more news, articles, artwork, stories and some free resources and tuts. Thats tutorials to some of you. This aint a porn site and tuts isnt a code word for something more sinister. Unfortunatly.

Anyway we’re gonna get back on with it so make sure you subscribe to our RSS feed and follow us on twitter. We will also have a few more ways to keep in touch/up to date in the works so stay tuned for that.

Also one last thing, we are also considering not allowing comments for the time being, (as you can see you can’t leave comments on this post) this is in an effort to cut down on the mountains of spam we are getting. We have spam filters in place that work but we still have to delete them and tbh it’s a pain in the ass. Hi guys, sorry for the lack of updates of late. We have been busy working away and have much to show you. We are launching The Edge City Chronicles which is a mini series set in the Devolution universe, Edge City to be precise. They are a series of short stories giving you an insight into the workings of the city. They stories will be free featuring:

• The Awakening Of Yinsum Chen
• Xander Dies
• Bad Lands
• Hack\\: [Malfunction]

As we said they will be FREE and also available in the coming months in paperback version with addition artwork by Renegade Zero, along with the new line of merchandise. The first short: The Awakening Of Yinsum Chen will be available in the next few hours.

In other news the website stats have been increasing, which is great news. We have been working very hard to bring you some cool content we will be making available over the next few days and hope you enjoy it.

We are also working on a few other things to create a better website so stay tuned for that. Later today and tomorrow we will have the firsts Renegade Zero and DarkSider blog updates so get ready for that. Add us on Twitter and/or subscribe to our RSS feed to stay up to date.

Yes that’s right we have fixed the dreaded code, meaning you can now leave comments on the site. For something so simple to be achieved it was quite a hard task. Maybe we are a bunch of ‘n00bs’ and ‘phail epically’ but we persevered and got there in the end.

We had hoped to have the thing finished at the weekend but other more important matters arose (sunny weather!!) that we couldn’t and WOULDNT miss out on. Some much need R+R. However brief it may have been…

Anyway, in terms of updating, we have a few things to announce. We have added both Andrew Lisle and renegadeZERO to the site, who will be leaving posts and articles along with the site Admin. It will all appear under the front page, but easily separated in categories. What does this mean I hear you cry?? Well basically that all posts will appear on the home page, meaning the site should have a at least one post every day. Secondly all GFS Admin posts, Andrew posts and renegadeZERO posts will be placed into categories, making them easier to look through encase you missed any or just want to reminisce on our individual pain.

So what can you expect? We’ll the Admin posts will be… Admin type stuff. Andrew’s posts will be the DarkSider stuff. For those of you that aren’t aware DarkSider is Andrew’s personal and work related blog featuring his own twisted view on life. The old blog can be view at http://www.darksider.tk to catch the older posts. The renegadeZERO posts will be similar to DarkSider, except featuring renegadeZERO and what he gets up to when he’s SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING!!
The two will also be writing articles, tips and tuts from time to time and soon will be followed by Sin Zen. Our resident music dude™

Coming this week on the site will be content for all the pages starting tonight (hopefully) which we will keep you updated by via Admin posts. If you don’t want to miss out on anything why not subscribe to our RSS feed, located up in the top right corner.

Edit: 16:22 GMT – Fixed an error that prevented some users accessing our RSS feed.

Ok guys so we now have our Twitter and Delicious accounts linked to the site down the right hand side BUT!! We have just been informed people are unable to leave comments to our posts. We will fix this tomorrow right now we need sleep.

We have added pages so will add the content tomorrow along with fixing the comments problem.

Ok, so day two here and we are again. If anyone viewed the site in the past day they will have seen the template changed and we hope to leave this as it is for now. We are still figuring how to get many of the features up and running, we’ll be there soon.

This may seem like a backwards update, telling you what we will be updating before we actually do it, but hey, there you go! We will be adding interviews, concept artwork, downloads, profiles, details on each project and DarkSider in the next day or so. Hopefully we will be able to get them up tonight.

Whilst we are working on that Andrew, Sin Zen and Renegade Zero are busy working away on content but for now here is a concept image of Eddie from Devolution. Hope you like.

Updates: Theme changed, pages added & new post!!

If you are reading this it means the new site launch was successful and the dreaded site maintenance page is gone! Gone we tell you! For now at least…

We have had a fun few hours trying to get this all set up on our server so much thankies to our host for all the help.

As you can see we have jumped on the WordPress bandwagon, this way we can quickly and easily update stuff giving us more time to get on with more important matters such as our projects. Yes the projects, they are coming on well with a new one under way called ‘Death Creeps’ – working title. It is in a similar vein to Super MeKenzo, cute but filled with gore and depravity. You will like, yes you will.

On the projects front we will be bringing you all the latest news in the next few days and artwork before the arrival of our online comics in the next month. Devolution chapter one will be available soon along with a host of stories from the ‘Shorts’ series so stay tuned for that. Dark Matters, Epica and Death Creeps will be added shortly.

We will also have interviews with the artists and music from Sin Zen and Slow Motion Fire Fight too. Phew.  A lot of work ahead to bring you all up to speed and sedate your insatiable appetites so subscribe, SUBSCRIBE NOW! and make sure you miss nothing!

We will also be updating this template to bring it in line with the GodFall aesthetic but promise not to move things around too much. This is the direction we should have been heading in ages ago, but we are finally getting somewhere.
